The Technical University of Kenya participated in the just concluded two-day exhibition at Kenyatta University (KU) that culminates in an online exhibition from 19th to 20th September, 2023 at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. The University of Nairobi and Kenyatta University also participated in the physical exhibition at KU.
Various institutions and universities from Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, and Germany will participate in the online exhibition in September, 2023.
The Exploring Visual Culture project seeks to present stories on gender matters from different parts of the world and encourages the young generation to recite their understanding and interpretation through artworks manifested in any medium of choice.
Dr. Mary Clare Kidenda, the Academic Team Leader in the Department of Design and Creative Media, said, “The Technical University of Kenya is a member of EVC project, an open and transnational network of scholars, artists, teachers from field of art education, art, visual culture studies, culture and anthropology.”
